Hey There!
I’m Shami!
I’m a wife, a mother, and the creator behind Shami Trends.
I’m a woman who lost parts of herself, found new parts, and is still becoming.
I write about raw motherhood, not the filtered one but the honest one.
I dedicate my content to mothers who feel exhausted but grateful. Strong but overwhelmed. In love with their children but unsure who they are outside of them. Because no one talks enough about that part.
This space is my love letter to motherhood where pregnancy, postpartum, babies, and everyday life come together with honesty and heart.
I started Shami Trends because I know motherhood is not always the picture perfect journey people expect. Some days are beautiful, while others leave you searching for answers at two in the morning, wondering if anyone else feels this way too.
Here, I share the kind of advice I wish someone had shared with me, from pregnancy and postpartum to baby essentials, toddler life, affordable Amazon finds, and the little things that make everyday motherhood feel a bit easier. My hope is that every time you visit, you leave feeling understood, encouraged, and reminded that you never have to figure motherhood out all by yourself.

Are You New Here?
If you are in the middle of pregnancy, recovering after having a baby, wondering if what you are feeling is normal, or simply trying to figure motherhood out one day at a time, I hope this feels like a safe place to land. Everything I share here is something I wish another mom had told me sooner. Honest advice, real motherhood, and little things that make the hard days feel just a little lighter.
Outside Motherhood
When I am not being Mom, I am usually doing something that makes home feel a little cozier. You will probably find me crocheting while the house is quiet, trying a new recipe in the kitchen, Baking, Reading. I have always loved simple things, fresh flowers, slow mornings.
Life is not always perfectly balanced, and I am still learning as I go. But somewhere between the laundry, the coffee, the toddler giggles, and the quiet evenings at home, I have found a version of myself that loves creating a life that feels peaceful, intentional, and full of heart.
Why I Started Raw Motherhood and Postpartum Blog
This space is for the mothers who stay up late googling symptoms.
For the women who feel invisible.
For the ones rebuilding quietly.
I’m not here to tell you to “bounce back.”
I’m here to remind you that you were never meant to.
You were meant to grow.
